Download Screenchart
Free, open source, and private. Capture any chart or table and get instant AI analysis and visuals, on your own AI key.
Prefer to run from source? Follow the Quickstart. No installer and no first-launch security prompt.
A one-time security prompt on first launch is expected.
Screenchart is free and open source, and isn't signed with a paid Apple or Microsoft certificate, so your OS shows a one-time security prompt the first time you open it. This reflects the missing certificate, not the app's safety. The code and build pipeline are public.
- Open the DMG and drag Screenchart into your Applications folder.
- Try to open it. macOS says it can't verify the developer. Click Done.
- Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to the Screenchart message.
- Confirm with Open. You only do this once.
- Run the downloaded installer. Windows Defender SmartScreen may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen.
- Click More info.
- Click Run anyway to continue the install. You only do this once.
